Yes I know that many of us seem to have our heads stuck in a phone in every waking hour but I think technology
is super cool and there are a few apps that I use that make my life a whole lot easier!
I hope you find this useful and please comment below any apps you just can’t live without.
I use an android phone, most apps are available across android/apple/windows etc.
So here are the ones I use:
Focus @ will – I use this on my laptop but have discovered they also have an app today 🙂 It uses the power and science of music to help you focus. Plugging in my headphones, putting on my glasses and listening to focus@will send the signal to my brain that it’s time to work. I love it!!

Digipill – Fast and effective digipills to change your mind. Using the power of relaxation, neuroscience and other techniques this app will help you focus, lose weight, sleep feel motivated etc.

Google calender – My calender is on my phone and syncs with my laptop. organised and job done!
5 minute Journal – I’ve just started using this app. It prompts you to be much more aware with what’s going on in your life, what you are grateful for and what you could work on. It only takes a few minutes and is very helpful.

Pomodoro – Pomodoro technique is a way to work in sprints. If you are ;ike me and get easily distracted this technique is for you! You chose ONE thing only to work on for 25 minutes, no distractions, if anything comes to mind make a note of it and stay focused until your time is up. You them walk away for a 5 minute rest. Rince and repeat for 4 cycles and then have a 20 minute break. This really works for me 🙂

myfitnesspal – This is a great food diary app amongst other things. I sometimes need to refocus and log my food for a few days. I don’t worry about calories so much, I prefer to focus on carbs/protein/fat. I can’t use it for more than a few days as I lose the will to live but it certainly helps re focus

Podcasts – My car is my classroom!! I love to listen and learn. I don’t have time to read all the books that I want to but I spend loads of time in car so I listen to podcasts. I’ll need to do a new post about the ones I listen to but here are a few: Bizniz – Pay Flynn, Paul Mort Health – Fat Burning Man, Underground Wellness,

AudioBooks – I use audible – For the same reasons as above. Listening to books to holiday is superb. No more holding books and getting arm ache!!
Voice recorder – useful for recording things to do or ideas. Very useful in the car!
Evernote – Brilliant app! I use on my phone to make notes, to do lists, store photos for ideas etc. The pc version is great as you can save articles to read later and much much more
