I’ve been suffering with back pain for the past 3.5 years , experienced an early menopause and some other ‘problems’. I have not been listening to my body and have been chasing fast fat loss. The result has been I am still in pain, i have other pains, i have gained weight and feel a bit flat at times.
Enough it enough!! It’s time for some self care.
I am embarking on Project Rejuvenate 🙂
I have turned down the noise on fast fat loss and I am chasing health and wellbeing. To be honest it’s a bit scary! Im panicking that I will put on more weight and lose muscle. Thats just plain crazy! I can’t train efficiently just now because my body is a wreck.
So here is my plan…..
- No hard training for 3 months
- Great nutrition and hydration
- concentrate on Pilates and Yoga
- Practise my corrective exercises and stretches
- lots of walking
- Meditation
- Massage
- Stress reduction
- food and mood diary
- regular blogging to keep me accountable and hopefully to inspire others 🙂
- anything else I discover on my journey 🙂
The first thing to do is plan my weeks and diarise everything. This doesnt work for everyone but I need to know what Im doing on a daily basis.
I know that there are areas im going to struggle with but thats ok. Its progress not perfection right?
I am interested to see how all these changes effect my hormones, moods, weight loss and energy levels
The first thing I need to do is take photos, measurements ands note my moods.
Tx
Hi Tanith, I need to do this to in exactly the same way for similar reasons, the only difference I might make is pelvic floor exercises and hypopresives… Let me know if you want to buddy up!
hey Terri,
