So Ive been on the pill for 2 weeks and i’m feeling good. No hot flushes or mad mood swings :0)
I have also started taking siberian gingseng with licorice and lavender which seems to help my energy levels.
I went to spain for 4 days with my business mentor and peers which was fab. Spending time away with positive people is always good for the soul. Seeing the sunshine was very good for me too. It wast hot but on a couple of days warm enough to be in a vest .
I have been using my SAD lamp for 3 days so far, 90 minutes per day and already it is making a difference. I feel much more lifted and am producing lots more work.
I think the combination of all of the above is really helping me feel better. It’s been a long, bumpy road but it’s good to be feeling better.
I’ve got two weeks head down and working until the Christmas break. I find it hard to switch off from the business so i want to have everything inplace so that i dont have to worry.
I am really looking forward to family time as i dont spend as much time with them as i would like just now. That is changing next year

it’s funny, I have a blog on menopause called Ms Menopause – don’t write there much, am writing more as Musemother. But even though I’m past the turmoil and ups and downs of menopause (yes, it does get better), I still sympathize. In fact, I think menopause is the greatest journey women ever go on, if they are awake to the challenge of more self-knowledge, more inner wisdom, and better self-care.
