How do you want to feel today or in a 100 days time?
More energy? More Zen? More sleep?
Do you think you would feel different if you could commit to something small for the next 100 days?
Something seemingly small but when done everyday for 100 days could potentially change your life?
Yes 100 days sounds like a long time but a 100 days will pass anyway, whether you change or not.
You know what changes you need to make to improve your life right?
You’ve probably read books/blogs/articles/watched TV/listened to experts who have told you how to change what you eat, exercise and think to live a happier and healthier life yes?
Yup me too….
The thing is have you (and I) actually put any of the advice into practice, consistently to feel the results ??
==>Not so easy huh? 🙁
I listen to podcasts regularly in the car, my car is my classroom.
I’ve just started listening to one called the Health Bridge Showwith Dr Sara Gottfied and Dr Pedram Shojai.
They were talking the other day about their ‘Gongs’ and I didn’t have a clue what they were talking about.

It’s a practice that develops habits and willpower (yes you can train your willpower).
It’s a way of setting a daily ritual and jolt you out of the trance we can sometimes walk around in
It’s also a way of showing yourself self-care and self-love. A way of building your self esteem.
You choose a new habit(s) that you commit to doing everyday for the next 100 days. If you miss a day you start your 100 days again. It’s not a way to beat yourself up if you have to start again. Use the ‘journey’ as a way to witness yourself and your behaviours. What stories do we tell ourselves why we can’t/won’t do certain tasks.
Sheesh!! Sounds intense but it doesn’t have to be. The new habit could be a simple as having breakfast every day or you could choose 10 habits a day (probably best for the more experienced ‘gong-er’).

Remember that an apple tree is grown from seed. With a little help that tiny seed can grow into a beautiful apple tree with delicious fruits that bear new seeds.

I’m going to start a Gong on Wednesday and have got my husband and the kids onboard too.
Going to make it a family event, get a chart up on the wall and have some fun!
It got me thinking that it would be good to share this with others. My friends, family, clients and readers.
I’ll share what my Gong contains and then I’m going to blog about it and imvite others to share their progress.
Fancy joining me? I’d love to Gong with you 🙂
